The Peek-A-Poo is a "designer dog," the Peek-A-Poo is a cross between a Pekingese and a Toy Poodle. They are loyal and affectionate and can be quite protective of their owners. Like most designer dogs, the Peek-A-Poo was developed to be a companion for people with allergies. The Peek-A-Poo generally gets along with everyone in his family. They do well with older, more considerate children, and should be socialized and raised with children to be accepting of them. Peek-A-Poos behave well with other dogs and pets. The Peek-A-Poo has an average shoulder height of 11 inches and weighs between 8-12 pounds. Some can be smaller. They have a soft, cotton-textured coat which can be white, brown, black, silver, or a mixture thereof. It has a single layered coat with little dander and sheds little to none, making it an excellent match for those with allergies.
